A few years ago my dad and I wanted to do some after-Christmas shopping just for fun! No one really wanted to go shopping at 5 or 6 AM the day after Christmas except for the two of us, so we did it! We went to Target and Macy's and a few other stores and really got some good deals with our Christmas money. Since then we've made it a tradition and Mom, Laura, and Mary have joined us; Dad and his girls.
This was probably my best year so far! I did so good. I got some great deals on wrapping paper for next year. The last few years I didn't buy any, and when December rolled around this year and I saw the prices of wrapping paper I was regretting that. We went to Target, Kohl's, Taipan, and Modern Shoe this year and I think we all got some great deals!
After all of the shopping we went to iHop for breakfast! It is such a fun tradition that I really love.

What a fun tradition! I'm so glad that you guys had such a great Christmas! It's been too long since I've gotten to run into you! :-) Hopefully we can "run into" each other soon! Have a great New Years!

It was great fun--and we started the tradition. It gives us something to look forward to after the excitement of Christmas morning dies down. And, we have half-priced wrapping paper for the next year. What a deal! And it's so great to be with my girls!

I loved being with you on all the holiday happenings. I've enjoyed reading all your posts and they were fun to see what you have done with both sets of parents and your sisters. I didn't get in on the boxing day tradition but I am glad you have fun with your parents and sisters.
