Today my mom picked me up from work at 2:00 and took me to lunch. There's something special about a mother-daughter relationship. I love and look up to my mom so much and always leave her feeling uplifted.
It truly is the simple things in life that bring me joy. As for today, going to lunch with my mom really made my day.

What a fun time for you and your Mom! She really couldn't do that in Korea with you and now you appreciate it more since you are older. You have a great Mom and you are a great daughter. (and granddaughter)
I'm so jealous! Enjoy this time when you live so close to Mom and have the time to spend with her one on one as adults. I missed out on that because she was in Korea, but I'm happy that you have that opportunity.
