Trevor was the only one who hadn't seen the Joseph Smith movie and so it was neat to be there with him for his first time. I really loved the movie. It was just what I needed, it really gave me the strength I needed. I was sustained as Relief Society President on Sunday. I was feeling anxious about Sunday, but watching that movie really brought me peace. Joseph said that the Lord calls us in our weakness and then provides the way for us. I feel this way completely. I'm grateful for the opportunity the Lord has given me and pray for His strength.
Joseph Smith was amazing. He experienced hard things in his life and showed great faith and devotion to the Lord. We can learn so much from his life as well as the Saints who followed him and sacrificed so much for this church.

That is one handsome boy you have with you!
Seriously, what a darling couple you are. And I know you'll be an amazing RS president - once you get that binder organized:)
It is neat that you are going out with friends and enjoying life. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving. We'll miss seeing you.
Lucky you to see the lights on temple square and I'm glad Trevor was able to see the movie for the first time. It brings me to tears when I see it.
Joseph Smith...almost every year I go to Palmyra, NY to view the pageant. I recall one year it was raining moderately when the prayer for the rain to stop astounded all of us. At 9PM the rain stopped and the pageant began. How impressive is the power of prayer. Thanks for contining your blog.
