Shay and I have been meaning to get together and have a mini girl's night for the past few weeks. Last night we did it! I made chicken cabbage salad (so yummy!) and then we went to see the movie Nights in Rodanthe. I had been wanting to see that for a while now. In Korea I got on a Nicholas Sparks kick and read just about every one of his books I could get ahold of. I vaguely remember reading this one. The movie started out slow, but I really liked it a lot. It was fun to spend some time with Shay. She's such a great friend to me and I love her so much!
I think my birth control makes me very emotional, or at least I'd like to blame it. I cry over EVERYTHING these days. Just the other day I cried while watching the TLC show What Not to Wear. I was just so happy that the woman felt so much self confidence and she knew she was beautiful. So while we were watching Nights in Rodanthe I had to hide my face so that I wouldn't be sobbing audibly. Man, it's embarrassing being a bawl baby!

A little girl time is definitely needed!
Glad that you could have some time with a friend. That is important in life. Salad sounds goot.
It is nice that Shay still feels comfortable doing things with you and Trevor. I had heard that wasn't a good movie, but like you, I love Nicholas Sparks books. I haven't read that one, though.
Yeah for girls night! I'm glad you had a fun time with Shay! A good cry is great for the soul!
