Heck yes! I made fried zucchini, zucchini bread with cream cheese frosting, and a chicken caesar pasta tonight. It was kind of crazy in the kitchen, but I just got really ambitious and started cooking away. I had never made fried zucchini, but I knew Trevor loved it, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. It was so yummy, and so easy! (Just dip sliced zucchini in whipped eggs and then in crushed ritz crackers and fry on buttered frying pan.) After eating Mary's yummy zucchini bread last weekend I decided I needed to make us some. I found a recipe from allrecipes.com and we loved it! Then I made some cream cheese frosting to go on top. For dinner I made a recipe from beckyhiggins.com I had read about and looked really yummy to me. She has some good recipes and I love looking at her site because it's nothing too complex. Here's how everything turned out! Trevor's so sweet and cleaned up the whole kitchen after - and believe me, it was a disaster.

Zucchini Bread
Cream Cheese Frosting
Chicken Caesar Pasta
One happy girl in her favorite kitchen!

That is really neat that you enjoy cooking and try new things. What a change you have made in 2 months. It's good that Trevor visits with the kids and helps them. Such a well rounded fun couple you are!!
Wow! Way to go Jenny. You are really getting to be a queen of the kitchen. I am glad Trevor is following in Gramps footsteps and cleaning up the kitchen. It certainly is a blessing when you have spent a long time in the kitchen.
You are too cute! I love how ambitious you are in the kitchen!
You're amazing! I'm so happy that you enjoy cooking and Trevor's such a great audience!
Wow J! I love that you're taking up cooking and finding the joy in it!
Jenny: For the fried zucchini you can also use corn flake crumbs. They are already crumbled and come in a box -- so much easier than crumbling the crackers and tastes really good! Love your blog and hearing about your activities. Marsha
