Trevor's cousin Kara lives down in La Verkin and blessed her little boy Bridger last Sunday, so we decided to take a quick trip to St. George with the Cox family. We left on Friday afternoon and came back on Sunday afternoon. Troy wasn't able to come, but Stephanie came with Tyson which was super fun!
Saturday we did a session in the St. George Temple. It was my first time inside of that temple and I really enjoyed it. It's really a cool feeling being in a place with such history. After the temple we went to Kara's for a lunch. Then the girls (Jeanette, Stephanie, Kelsie, and I) went dress shopping for Kelsie. Kelsie is going to her first dance next weekend and so we had to go on the search for the perfect dress. Kelsie is such a cute and fun girl. We didn't find the dress, but we will.
{Taylor, Jeanette, Trevor, and me outside of the St. George Temple. Tyson, Stephanie, and Kelsie did baptisms.}
Later that night Jeanette taught Stephanie and me how to crochet. I've been wanting to learn for quite a while, but haven't had the patience to try. Jeanette really is a great teacher! I did 12 inches of a double stitch, I was pretty excited. Not to mention, I had dreams about crocheting all night.
{Trevor always says I look mean when I'm concentrated, what do you think?}
On Sunday we went to Bridger's baby blessing. Rob gave a beautiful blessing and I'm glad we were able to be there. All three of the Cox boys were able to participate in the circle and it was really neat. We thought we were going to have a Super Bowl Party at the condo after, but when we got there we realized that none of us care about football. In fact, we were watching a chick flick instead of the game for a while (the boys included). We drove home shortly after.

We had a fun weekend away from home! Sometimes it's just nice to get away for a little while, especially with life so hectic. We are so grateful for family.

I'm glad you had such a fun weekend with the Coxes in St George. You deserve it!
I enjoy your blog and learning about all the new things you are experiencing in your life. You have great parents and in-laws.
What a great weekend you had. The St. George temple is a neat temple, but can get very hot in the summer.
It was nice that Jeanette was able to teach you to crochet. You all looks so cute laying on the bed. Yes, you do look a little mean when you are concentrating so hard.
We're happy to have you back for yours and Michael's birthday for the weekend. suracte
I think you look cute when you concentrate:)
