[State Drill Competition]

Last Friday Kelsie competed in the State Drill competition. Her team did an awesome job! They have worked so hard and they looked really good.

We were glad it was held at UVU so we could go. We showed Kelsie how much we love her by standing out in the cold until the doors opened so we could get good seats at 8:30 AM.

We had a fun time watching her and we're so proud of Kels.

One of our favorite parts was at the very end of the competition when the "Golden Girls" performed for us. One of the women was 92 years old and did the splits! It was so awesome.

I LOVE the Golden Girls!!! They inspire me. The once preformed at a BYU basketball game and just after doing the spilts, Cosmo came over and picked the little old lady up and spun her off stage. It was magical and it is now my life goal to do the splits until the day I die.

Kelsi really looks like her Mom. I hadn't noticed how much until looking at the first photo and then the second photo. I am glad you got to watch her. Reminds me of the days of watching some sweet granddaughters participating in dance, etc.
